  1. Glad old man Carew put one in off the walker

  2. Once again, it was only an earball job for me Hammer, but listening it did seem that Old Man Carew was a shade bit sharper than Carlton.

  3. cut from the same cloth, those two. I don't really see why they need both, maybe trying to keep up with Chelsea and Man city in the striker department, but in a cut-price stylee, of course. Think the presumption of getting 3 points at Palace didn't help.

  4. Perhaps Alf Tupper's thinking of shifting CC in the January Sales (there's an idea put him in the window at John Lewis !) and hoping OMC will be in passable shape to take over ? To be honest Filthy, it sounded a bit "batter and clatter" via Radio London and I'm not sure Ron Greenwood would have been very impressed. I do of course accept that the 2nd Division is no place to take issue with style, but when you don't win it does cross your mind.

  5. Good thought about Cole in January. More ASDA than J Lewis these days, though. Any road that gets you there I suppose.

  7. I'm with you zorro - the only thing we have to fear is fear itself. It's time for the Upton Park crowd to toughen up and sing out. By the way is that "white brilliance" by Dulux or Crown ?

  8. Are you currently occupying Wall st Mr P? or is Green st your main concern?

  9. Filthy, I must confess that I am no position to get nicked by the NYC Rozzers, who having recently received a very large bung from JP Morgan are likely to be quite "focused" right now. There's a joke in there about spray, but I'll save you the groan. As for the Occupy Green Street Movement, they seem to have gone very hush hush.
