  1. So we played a cracker on banger day!!
Someone must have lit a fire under 'em and they
came out smokin' after a damp squib performance against the birdies.

  2. You're Not wrong Smitty. Alf Tupper evidently light some rockets in the right places at half time and we came back out and tamed The Tigers !

  3. the catesby gang...one of them was called "sir Everard Digby" popular with the ladies, no doubt! Gunpowder, treason, plot....
Good result, there's nothing like the glow of a win on the journey back to the capital from some cold, dark, depressed corner of "the Norf".

  4. In case we have any budding Henry Higgins out there, on Green St. "Hull" is pronounced the same as "Hole" (silent H observed) - perhaps for good reason. "Everard" sounds like one of Billy Bonds' ancestors !

  7. Great, 1 goal and Collinson is now convinced that he worth another 30 grand per week. Lets see how many games he can go without injury before we even think about him for the future

  8. Why such a hard take on Jackie Collinson Hammer ? I heard he was bit humpy and grumpy at the start of the season, but thought he must be settling back down with Alf Tupper At The Controls.

  9. Dont get me wrong, I want him to do well just like everyone else on the team, but we haven't seen him play 5 games straight in the past 2 years.

  10. Well lets hope he can put in a few shifts on the trot. There's a lot of potential there and one of our better haircuts.
