  1. So, Mr Pepper, having had time to digest this disappointing result - W'appen?!?!
After all, BC 1 up from the bottom, Irons 1 down from from the top- 3 out of the last 4- Looking good, then.............
Can't they put the lid on owt?

  2. Welcome Smitty, "Bristle" were actually bottom when we kicked off, so you'd fancy us being second - we'd have put the to the sword. Well if it sounds too easy it probably is ! I missed the first half (real life getting in the way again), but did earball the second. In a nutshell they had two big stoppers at the back (centre halfs) and we couldn't get through them and it didn't seem to occur to anyone to try and go round them. Which is a shame because they had Calamity James in goal.

  3. The trousers and boots foil this young mans attempts to pass himself off as a second hand car salesman. No tie, either. Bloomin' dressed up yobbo, if you ask me!

  5. Tasteful coat tho. Very stylish and not cheap.
I've got me old man's for which he duly suffered to pay for back then, bout 63 or 4. Took good care of it till he went, and I'm doing the same. Luvly!!

  6. Must confess Smitty, that although I can plead guilty to the barnet (or lack thereof) , Ben Sherman and Levis (no bleach) - I didn't even know anyone that owned a sheepie. Not only did you have to acquire it - you had to defend it too. As for his "daises" -I spy steel toers ! Might even be Cherry Reds !!!

  7. No, fair play, it's a great coat, not a greatcoat, I mean a great coat. I'm just jealous. One of them could've kept me snug in the winters instead of freezin to death in me crappy cagoul, (very similar to the type Captain Scott and his men wore in the Antarctic and look what happened to them). Come to think of it, me mum got it at the village hall jumble sale for thruppence ha'pney or thereabouts. Anyway, great montages Andy, keep 'em comin, you'll soon have enough to put on a show.

  8. Was it Arthur Daley who said that "Skinheads had given sheepskin coats a bad name - after all you got to have something warm pacing about that forecourt all day ".

  10. It's back to football courtesy of Dont Hurt Em - who's dead right. We've got to stay right on Southampton's shoulder and keep Middlesborough in the rear view mirror. We have to get goals every game !

  14. Way To Go Filthy, Got nothing but supreme respect for Smokin' Joe. I can't guarantee it, but if I can pull it off - maybe I can make a special post, he's more than worthy of it.
