Portsmouth v West Ham

  1. Well said Mr P, get out sharp with the points.
We're gonna have to do a bit better than that though against 10 men. Defence solid as usual but keeping em out isn't enough, gotta find a way to put em in. Shopping for a magic foot up front is a deffo, Bobby Z?

  2. The return of Bobby Z - cue the Small Faces "I'm Only Dreaming" !

  3. Solid win, would have been typical for us to give the goal up at the end. Lets hope to string together some wins to make the gap even larger

  4. Solid indeed Don't Hurt "Em, Pompey hadn't lost at home in some time and we had to deal with a prize plonker of a referee. Green and Tomka deserve mentions in despatches - there would be no clean sheet without them, but we still need a trigger man up front. Big up to the King of Canning Town for yet another lethal spot kick, he put in a decent shift too - Mark Noble Hammer of the Year ? Could be ?

  5. I was also very disappointed with Nolan or getting into a fight, not much of a role model

  6. It's not what you expect of a captain is it, a yellow card for swinging handbags ? He's been suspended once this season, we really don't need it happen again - if it's a match, or even a goal saving professional foul then fair enough - but handbags ! C'mon man, act your age!

  7. Wots this I hear about Spirs wanting to buy Tomka? Hell! Sell em Flaubert!! That's what I say!

  8. "Spirs" I kind of like it CBTG, as for the "L' in Faubert, it gives him a kind of literary pedigree ! Surely Messrs. Sullivan & Gold, won't be foolish enough to part with what's surely going to be one of the best English defenders in some time and the best looking in a long time ! As for "Le Poumon Noir", although Alf Tupper has raised his game no end, I doubt he's tatsty enough for 'Arry's Champions League Spids !

  9. OH!! (Spurs!) I'm just learning about the other teams...and I thought Flow-flow was related to madam Bovery? (Hence Flaubert...) Thanks!!

  10. "Flow-flow' for Faubert that's definitely a keeper CBTG ! Although don't be suprised if it evloves and/or devolves into Flossie or Flo ! Nice one.
