West Ham v Southhampton

  1. Captain Noble indeed! How many penalties has he scored this season? I reckon the result is fine, Hammers still calling the shots. No cup distractions....keep racking up the points to avoid "squeaky bums" in April.

  2. I know Sam would never keep Noble as captain because Nolan is his signing but the captain's armband looks very good on Nobes as of now

  3. Good point Don't Hurt "Em, but from below decks we'd prefer to stay with the new skipper Noble. He knows how to put put up a fight and he's a claret and blue thoro-bred to boot.! As for penalties Filthy, surely he's as good a shot as any with a heart of oak ?

  4. It will be completely unacceptable if anyone else gets sent off within the next 3-4 games. I dont want to say that I want us to start the game relaxed but obviously we are too pumped up for our own good.

  5. A very kosher POV once again Don't Hurt 'Em. I haven't tallied the book, but we must be up to half a dozen reds this season - not really our style is it ? It's easy to park the blame on Alf Tupper's doorstep - but someone has go to get our lads to behave a little better, especially as the Saints banged in 4 today !

  6. "Rum, Sodomy and the lash" alf tupper's style of man management? It does seem like a tight ship these days, which can lead to being too pumped up. But he's got to keep'em focused.

  7. Aye Aye Filthy "Keep 'em focused" but not "Too pumped up". Save the rum ration for the wins and the lash when we slip - I'm going to skip the other bit !
