Well and truly....does Nolan getting offed bring a glimmer of joy to people? wonder if they can extend his ban retroactively! The darkest days of winter, Alf better get his "yeah, yeah, yeahs" out
Surely Filthy, we're now going to see Ravel with the training wheels off no ? With Nobby red carded I can't see how Alf can refuse him a [proper go now.
You're back with us Mr Smitty, what's it like out there far fron the super information highway ? I was begining to wonder if you had not taken off to find out if Accrington actually exists !
Free from the Ironacoaster, Mr P. Which is this case is not all bad. It does, and as said before I think it would be easier on the nerves. If Alf has a plan D, I think now is the time. I can't think of when I had so much doubt about playing the bottom club in the league.
I feel like the Sergeant Major from Zulu Smitty:"Button up your tunic lad and put your hat on properly. They're only Makems and they let in goals like anyone else - in fact they're bottom so they let them in more than anyone else !" Ignore the deletion from me - was just unhappy my first reply.
It's not what they let in that bothers me, it's that we can't get them in. Saw the highlights in a boozer against Chelsea, they didn't look bottom to me. Ignored.
There's definitely something up at Chelski - even the rich have problems and my instincts continue to tell me the second Abramovich - Mourinho marraige won't go as well as the first. And although I agree that we have been pitiful in front of the goal for some time now Smitty laying porr opposition can't hurt !
I figured that, s'ok, was the excitement of playing someone we might beat I'm sure. Still not convinced though. Fighting for their lives!?, they seem to be going down with more swing than us, sadly.
Once the new manager factor has worn off ("Pullis over" - ouch !) I can't see them have anymore fight in them than us Smitty ! I'm expecting Rude Boy Ravel to razzle dazzle 'em on Saturday !
That is a possibility, with the Nolan factor out, the youth let loose and some pride to play for we may pull it off. TP may not have worn off by then though. What should be an easy 3 is still in the air, but hope springs........ Didn't we pay 15M for the answer to this? Anyone remember what it was?
The marriage at Chelsea is definitely a wrong 'un. It' s a same sex marriage, and not the fairer sex in either case. I'd hope for the "Ravel Morrison Show" to take centre stage. Mustn't be fearful of Sunderland, 'though they'll be fighting for their lives, so should the Irons!
Filthy seeing the words "Ravel Morrison Show" for some reason made me think of Mr Superbad of the KTel soul compilation. I can just imagine him now doing a dyn-o-mite delivery of those very words - bring it on !
It does have a ring to it..."K Tel" soul food-guaranteed happy times for the masses. That'll do! Sunderland? It'll be a battle, could be decided by the 3 min 15 sec of R M genius.

Back to the land of t'internet, is it worth it?
ReplyDeleteIs there something left in the bottom of the bag?
Where was Accrington again?
All these and more will be the same questions we will ask next week.
I wish I could feel confident against Sunderland, I daren't look at the odds.

ReplyDeleteThat should read "playing poor" opposition can't hurt Smitty (can't even blame that one on Slade)

"an easy 3" Smitty ? No such thing at Upton Park !
DeleteThere is, sadly, of late it's been for the other guys though.
DeleteCOYI!! is still the only way though.
Been here before , we'll be here again.
