The sound of the sufferers is rising Smitty - something's go to give surely ? I can't see how the Brady Bunch can continue "as is" punters are already starting to stay away. How much ill-feeling can the club seriously stand ? Will they just ask Tupper to "nice it up" and give him a few quid to spend over the summer, or will we get what we want. Either way I reckon we'll have to wait until after the Citeh match. I'm glad there are three teams with less luck than us !
Can't get my head around wanting West Ham to lose Don't Hurt 'Em - it just don't come natural to me ! I know you want what's best for The Hammers, but I've still got my eye on a third win over The Spuds. Still if we do lose the next three I reckon we'll be below Filthy's safety mark of 15th !
The word everywhere is "Dead Man Walking" on Moyes, but I can't see him stepping down to us. That's quite a downgrade Man Utd to West Ham, still if the Glazers do out him as expected he won't be short a few quid so wages may not be the issue. Just can't see it myself - I wonder what his misses thinks of The Smoke ? Sadly for us, Mrs Allardyce evidently loves it !
I'm sure we're not top o the list but not totally out of the question I would have thought. I think with a lot of these cases money isn't the only issue it also might be about the challenge, but as said if he gets paid off his full contract he should be in the excruciatingly painful tax brackets so doing ok. London's got more Scots than Scotland it seems sometimes so him and the Mrs should be alright for porridge mornings and Knightsbridge tartans.
I think he might do a decent job, can run a hoofn'nut and might have a spark of a Plan B with what we've got now. I wouldn't be upset if he came, but we shall see. Then again I would be upset if Mr Magoo came, at least there'd be some laughs
Now Mr Magoo we might be able to swing Smitty and by the way I believe that tartan may well have originated in Knightsbridge. I think it was an English invention to smarten The Scots Up ?
Possibly:) The OS maybe an attraction in itself for the right kind of manager. Swanning around king of it all in the brand newest spanking stadium in town, admittedly the thought of looking at a half full one in a few year may kill it.
So Moyes has officially been elbowed, well I would think that both Newcastle and Spuds (assuming either is interested) would be more attractive to him. I don't follow the money at Villa, but if they're in better shape than us (i.e money to spend) they too might be preferable - that is if he's looking for work straight away. In this case The Brady Bunch's comments about us being on a financial precipice would not help their cause - wherever Moyes goes he's going to want money in both pockets !
Glad to see the back of it I would have thought, completely untenable position. When the smoke clears I'm sure he'll do ok. I'm more interested in who'll end up at United. Gotta be someone pig headed, with a humongous ego, and oblivious to anyone's opinions. Think we could get them interested?
There's a place called "Scotch corner" in knightsbridge, but i didn't know it was the birthplace of Tartan. I think that means they can't officially separate as they are joined at the hip (Kilt). My view? 2 more losses and he'll be gone.
Unlimited zeros- It's never going to happen but I'm sure if it were offered he'd be ballsy enough to give it a go and we'd have a real barometer by watching the shares plummet on the NYSE. I think, depending what's in his contract about mid season banging, they'll wait and bang him at the end.
I reckon if it is 2 losses out of the 3 remaining then it's a final position of 15th or 16th and an axe hovering over Sam's neck. (If they can find someone they like and think the fans will appreciate whilst delivering a higher place in the table, then he's gone).... but whadda I know?
There's a Sam Allardyce Poll being conducted on Survey Monkey, all the major West Ham web-sites are asking fans to vote and although Saitch is far from the Big Time, I will do the same. Evidently the link is: Vote here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/F6HN5LJ
Voted online, no matter what the result though I think the locals will be voting with their feet. Personally I'd be chuffed if we got another point this season. Can't see it though unless several fingers are got out. We're just lucky there are drossier dross in the PL this year.
I voted too Smitty, I'm not sure what difference it will ultimately make - but there is a groundswell of discontent right now and a whole heap of season tickets up for renewal. I can't help but dream about a hat trick over Spuds, but if I'm being sensible West Brom on Saturday could well be our last chance of points. Having said that I expect Albion to give it the extra - they don't want to go down either !
Enjoy your dream, must be luverly. Since all we're doing is bunging things at AC's bonce hoping he'll nut one and I think the last (only?) HT AC has got is for the bar codes 4-5 years ago that's some dream. Can I have some of whatever it is you've got?
I meant a hat trick of wins over Spuds Smitty, wouldn't dare mess with anything strong enough to get me thinking AC's got a hat trick in him this season !
Me and me son exit the ground at 17:00 hrs every home game on a saturday..funny how we only notice the bell in the church next to the ground ominously ringing like a Death Knell when we lose
A 5 O'clock bell Slippery ? What's that for ? Can't be opening time at The Boleyn, they're open all day no ? Maybe they do a brisk business in Post Match Confessions ?
The church bell dongs with exactly the same dong that W.W.F.s Undertaker uses on his entrance...i couldve sworn it Donged about 30 times last i heard it...so cant be an hourly one
Might be left over from the old days Slippery ? Reminding people on Match Day to not forget the old Collection Plate if they have a result on the Pools !
Gonna need more than a swift arf to cure what ails him.
ReplyDeleteWe are so so screwed at the OS if this is what's on show.

ReplyDeleteDo we suffer three more losses to get Sam out or suffer a whole other season?
ReplyDeleteI wish we had the choice. More of this and we could easily tank the last 3 and still keep Sam
Delete15th sounds maybe a little optimistic

Way too short for my money - I'd add on few more zeros !

"2 more losses" Filthy ? Does that mean 2 out of the remaining 3 ? 2 in a row ? Or the next 2 ? Can we lose 2 more and still be 15th or higher ?

Well higher than 15th or 16th ought to be do-able (?), I wonder how Slaven Bilic is doing in Istanbul ?
