West Ham v Blackpool

  1. Lets hope little Sam and Carew can have the partnership we've been waiting for. I wouldn't worry about saying Carew is going to be too old in a year or two.... Gold and Sulivan can afford a power scooter, he could wheel around the field.

  2. Hammer, I must agree, if Old Man Carew and Young Sam Bulldog's outing today are anything to go by we might have a Ying Yang situation. By the way was that you waking up the neighbours on the BBC Radio London "shout out" ?

  3. Guilty as charged for the waking up the neighbors but with luke/yoda situation I would 100% start them again, make Cole work to get back into the lineup

  4. You're talking nothing but sense H, "may the force be with them". As for your neighbours - keep it up son, the Small Faces would be proud (cue "Lazy Sunday").

  5. Quick off the mark with this one Mr Pepper. 2 week break and a handsome win and it's hot off the presses before the first pint of Courage Best is pulled post game in E13. The age/youth combo is a classic, and I think you were right a couple of weeks ago when you thought OMC would be effective, whilst i thought he was too blunt. "Every nail needs a hammer"...Mr F Rich.

  6. Wotcha Filthy, when The Irons win 4 nil, you have to act swiftly - been 6 years and 33 days since the last time ( Villa in case you wondered). As for the Courage Best, I was never brave enough to drink it - mines a bottle of Pils in a bowl glass. We're 2nd in the 2nd with Southampton on Tuesday, obviously I'm hoping for a knees up. Cheers !

  7. Now i think of it, Courage best has a Spuds connection: Chas and Dave?
I had my fill of numerous bottles of Pils, produced from that shelf, about knee height to your average barman, just next to the fridge motor, crinkly metal foil on the top. They were the future, but served in the past!
Impressed with your stats. I'll be timing you on Tuesday!

  8. I make no promises about a tuesday deadline, but obviously I'm hoping for a bit of a knees up. I wonder what Chas'N'Dave make of Spuds attempte to surrender North London the the Gooners and move into our manor ?
