Queens Park Rangers v West Ham

  1. There ya go!!
Now what was that we were all PO'd about last week?
Even though QPR aren't the sharpest tools in the box, nice day out across town.
AC had a bit of a run around so that's promising,
VT got a birthday goal, and jarvis did a nice job , right place right time.
Much as I like Taylor, anyone got any ideas why Jarvis is buggering about warming the bench?
Bit of a scare with Reid but he seems to have bounced off, so we're good there.
All in all, smiles all round and onward and upward.

  2. A bit sad for "the nicest man in rock" Oh well... I reckon alf got his motivational prayer meeting just about right (maybe using the 4-1 drubbing as fuel). I even thought I saw JJ looking more solid! A little skip in the step for all Hammers followers.

  3. Filthy, I wonder if he was "the nicest man in rock" (doesn't sounds quite right, or is it me ?) during Half-Time Monday night at Loftus Road ? I hear he's a regular, so he might well have been there !

  4. Yup, I agree, not sure if it's just "rock" or the whole thing. Maybe it was "music biz" either way it was used in an article a few years ago in, I think the Guardian. Anyway, I'm sure he was sucking lemons after 45.
We've all been there! and it feels better when it's someone else.

  5. Great to see Jarvis get one and lets hope Vaz Te goes on a little run. I really don't want to rush Carrol back into the game yet and get him injured but he might be the x factor that will capitalize on a half chance against one of the big clubs.

  6. The Guardian Filthy ? Not exactly renown for the turn of phrase when it comes to all things rockin, but they may have added a phrase or two to the vegetarians' vernacular.

  7. Know what you mean Don't Hurt 'Em, when it comes to AC's return, but the combo of him and Jarvis might just do the job against Napoleon Wenger's artillery. As for Vaz Te, score away my son - score away !

  8. You are what you read?! In which case i'd rather be the Guardian than the Sun.Either way It's vital to have good information. I reckon Alf's mugging up on a few phrases to use in his "war of words" with Professor Wenger. (I reckon Alf reads the guardian and wenger the sun)
