Manchester United v. West Ham United

  1. Take yer glasses off mate!
Could easily have got a point with a strong and at times cultured performance. Nothing to fear on the return.

  2. Filthy, I had me Thames Ironworks t-shirt in my mouth and was ready to start chewing when I realised Nobby had been given offside. Like many others I suspect, I was moaning and groaning when he was subbed on - how many minutes before ? Once again the homes side saved by The Old Trafford Factor - boo hiss !

  3. Coodashooda got the draw, but we didn't.
Scrappy & sloppy at times. I think Alf ( and by osmosis the boys) was afraid of them from the get go
That said, at least we were in with a chance and we're looking way better than previous.
The FatNobby duo goes on as if nothing has changed. Fair dos to Nobby for the "goal"
I think he was offside but unlucky to be called. Serious question here- aside from that did he do anything, anything at all. Please someone tell me he did, cos I didn't see anything to justify him being there.
So we better be good for the next month or two and get every point we can, the odds on AC strolling back in just got to almost 100%, and we're gonna get hammered.

All in all, it was worth watching. 1000% better than last years dross but to keep some consistency in the Smittydrone I hope the Pie A Lard Yce recipe is being perfected.

  4. Going to argue the toss with this one Smitty - Nobby scored ! "His head was off side " - What a load of cobblers - classic Man U "fit up". Having said that as stated above I was not happy to see him come on - but credit where credit's due he nicked one and the linesman nicked it back !

  5. All in the eye Mr P, but he called it and we were done.

As I asked before though did anyone see anything, a pass, a tackle, a block, a classy little dance move for the thrill of it all? Anything? - he might as well have been the invisible man.

  6. Have to be honest Smitty after the "goal" I was still watching, but can't remember much at all - apart from Valencia making a couple of poor choices near the death - but it's part of a strikers make-up and to be expected. On the subject of expectations - I had hoped fro a little more from Diego Poyet, who was in for the injured (how ?) Noble.

  7. Moving off the pitch, I see Tomka opted for a last minute Guilty plea in his drunk and disorderly/assaulting a copper charge. Cost him just over five grand Yankee ! This all took place at a "night club" in Essex some time back - shame he didn't have Ravel with him, they could have threatened to blow it up too !

  8. Back from Brentwood to the Boleyn, we're going to want all 3 points off Arry on Green Street tomorrow. I see Diame scored again and Hull grabbed another win, we don't want to be lurking around the dodgy end of the table - best leave that to Mr. Redknap.

  9. his lot are in real trouble..I'm not sure how much of it lies at his door, but i feel a sizeable chunk. Should be a nice, easy low pressure romp to an attractive victory..should be....
