Manchester City v. West Ham United

  1. Even if you had it wouldn't have helped.

"We can do anything. We could even lose!! COYI!!!!!!!!!"

What was I thinking, of course we couldn't.

I'm not sure what we've got here but we've got it in spades. We seem to be on the ball in every counter, threaten with a real threat every time.
Defence in the 2nd half. Never seen anything like it. I'll have to get a new battery for the pacemaker.

You could write a book but I think we have a team here.

  2. They threw absolutely everything they had at us in the second half, medals all roy nd and a special mention in Despatches for Winston and SeƱor San Miguel - "above and beyond the call of duty".
This gaffer knows what he's doing and as someone on KUMB said "We've got West Ham back" !

  3. That should read "medals all round" - bloody laptop will start commenting on it's own if I don't watch it !

  4. I thought the game was over after city's goal at the half. The West Ham I'm used to never makes any adjustments during the break.
It was clear that man city was more talented and more athletic but the West Ham defense was far and away the strongest group on the field.
Most expensive starting 11 in English history doesn't mean anything when a beer costs £10. It's 2015 every squad from here on out will be the most expensive ever.
And promote Noble to Major. West Ham doesn't fake injuries we have enough real ones already. Truest performance by a captain that I can remember.

  6. Whatever Bilic said or did at half time, or whether or more of the team chime in - they're commitment in the second half was truly a thing of wonder Cranberry. You can't argue with his substitutions either. If Citeh could have found a way to score a second they would have - they couldn't ! One of my favorite moments when Noble pulled Jenko up off the ground- any doubts I've had about him being a proper captain have totally gone !

  8. The second half was like The Alamo (see above) except we won Clueless !

  9. Well our first appearance in this years League Cup is less than 15 minutes away at Leicester. I've just checked the team sheet and it's a very strong side we're fielding - definitely not a "B- Team". COME ON YOU IRONS !!!!

  10. Annoyingly, I keep forgetting to come here as often as I should. When I do pop in though, it's always good to see the work is still of a high standard. And how good were the Small Faces? Any further shows coming up in London?

  11. Ahoy There Billy, or in the words of Happiness Stan "Cool to yer man !" I'm doing my best to get another London show together, hopefully it will happen sooner rather than later, as this is the final season for Saitch (strictly District Line).

  12. Fabulous performance from Reid, Adrian, Tomkins and all at the back in the second half.Got the business done early then had a long time to hold on, but it was glorious and somehow controlled rather than just desperate. Medals all round as you say.
Oasis really were boring weren't they? All mouth and no trousers!
