  1. I'm down south in Atlanta right now and don't have the set up to do whatever I want, so this Saitch is lieu of what I might have done. Looking at it , it's not so shabby - WHAT A WIN ?

  2. Nah, MR P - you done alright there.

Tough to make one to do real justice. Not one for the faint hearted.
Everyone put in a shift and a half, scrappy and not at our finest but no quitters & no surrender. Obviously some more than others but there's not a man shouldn't take a bow.
I like Oggy and now he's in the book for all time. What a grin.
    Nuff said .

  3. Smitty, it was the most nervous at kick-off I had been for some time and that this one meant more than I had even realised. And a chirpy half time brew up reliving The Tiger's goal was soon a distant memory after that "well it's bloody obvious now !" equalizer. As you say all hands on deck and then we literally run out of defenders - I was concerned, especially when Milner came on - he'd just be the type ! But no - Oggie Oggie Oggie Oi Oi Oi and the loudest rendition of "Knees Up Muvver Brown" my neighbors have heard in ages !

  4. Well you knew it was gonna be a scrap from the off. At least we didn't give away a sitter in the first 10, so gotta be progress.
Yeah that was one for the Hall of Shame, but give him his due he mugged us good and proper.
I've always thought a good footie player should be able to deputise if necessary and GGGreat was just that at RB. Worth the price of admission that lad.
I was so pleased it was Oggy, solid at the back for the most part, very Gingelike, takes no crap from no one. Now he gets to chalk one up.
One semi pleasing thought, they wasted twice as much on Bentickytacky as we did on Tarzan :D

  5. Finger pointing galore at Benteke on Merseyside I would think Smitty and i've already been moaned at about the "soft" free lick - funny though, they can't seem to recall the penalty on Vlancia (holding both hands) at all.
Tony the Tiger, what can you say - not too shoddy at right back at all.
One won the hard way - absolutely glorious !

  6. very good Saitch mr P, worth the wait and a collectors item to go with the record against the scousers this season. Out scoring them 7-1! Fabulous!
Benteke was rubbish. Is this the end of the classic "English" style centre forward? Playing with one seems to negatively impact the way most teams play these days.
AC and Benteke should get themselves to China quick whilst they've still got some value.

  7. Brilliant Filth! I never thought of that. Now Nobby's an Oriental we can't do a twofer but if we can't sell em an old warhorse like Jelly we can sell them a slightly bent tosser like Tarzan. There's nobody this side of the dateline will bite. I think $ for $ I'd rather keep Jelly

  8. As always Filthy I will happily accept any compliments that land my way, intentionally or otherwise - must confess it turned out better than I had expected - pit together "on the road" so to speak.
From my point of view Benteke did all a West Ham an could ask, but it does seem like the future looks bleak for any wannabe Roy of The Rovers, although if they could only bag 'em like Roy it might not. Can't see Tarzan's Jane (AKA Billi Mucklow) going for China and anyway Andy probably don't like the food!

  9. Jelly loaned to The O's perhaps Smitty ? It's not quite China I know but Leytonstone is East !

  10. No problem being in China . He's only there half the year and half of that as a crock so it's just like a 3 month holiday.
He could bring over a portable 5 star chippy and a pienmash for her when she visits. Come on Mr P help me out here, I can't stand to watch a waste of a # much more.
Not sure what's going on with Jelly and the chinese. Anyone know? Sure Nobby could do with a knockeronerer and he can't afford Tarzan. Although I wish he could , I'd be glad to see him anywhere that ain't here.

  12. Sorry Smitty just can't see Tarzan in China, I reckon we're stuck with him. Any word on when we might get Sakho back, anyone ?

  13. Must have been priceless Slippery - under the lights in Chav Corner when the winner went in ! The boozer's must've been packed after too ! If we behave ourselves at Blackburn you might get another FA Cup game at The Boleyn !

  14. Are you ITK Mr Smitty ? I see Jelly's gone to China, I seem to remember you suggesting that ? At least Super Slav's about for the quick turnover on the wrong purchase.

  15. Just replaced the original with this not very different version - mostly because the other one was done "on the road" and was a little rougher than I like in the execution and I wanted to add the FA Cup trophy.
