West Ham United v. Tottenham Hostspur

  1. Smashing indeed and they were playing like machines. Looking forward to a strong final stretch at the Boleyn. Hope the back line can handle things without Ginger Pele to the rescue. Oh I get it now the goal was a rocket. Noble has also been firing rockets from outside the box. With everything that's been accomplished this season is will still be disappointed if he doesn't score a stunner from deep.

Saitchs & wins coming thick and fast

Remember when we was sprogs and you got that slab of hard Toffee for Xmas and it came with that little Hammer to bash it with. Now's the time!!!!

  3. Excellent Mr P. Loads of references there, but mainly one in the eye for the spuds. I think Bilic's tactics were the highlight. Didn't let them play to their strengths. Antonio's goal coming from a wing back was great. And early on just made the plan even better. Adrian gets a mention for sure, as do most, but my gold star goes to Bilic

  4. Being as your a regular C&B - I'll give you a pointer, see if you can dig up a 1960's/70's Cadbury's Smash TV Ads on You Tube ! Your right - Noble looking dangerous again and to think we kept Spuds at bay without a regular right back, Crazy Horses, Tomka or Ginge (at the end) !

  5. A night to remember for sure Smitty, we were better than them in the first half and about equal in the second. I was fretting a bit near the end, but happily no Harry Kane heartbreaker.
I do remember those Toffee Hammers, but now we have something a little bigger a la Tony The Tiger, we might so a bit better on Merseyside.

  6. We could have been 2 or 3 up by half time Filthy, but I'm happy to settle for one if it's the only one ! Billic is the bollocks and that's the truth !

  7. Before this year I really did not understand the difference a coach can make. I remember the camera flashing over to Alf Tupper or Avi G and they would be sitting on the bench watching the game. The EXACT same thing I was doing. The only suggestion I would make for Super Slav is to hire Russell Brand to yell at the fourth official for 90+ minutes.

  8. Remember Tupper calling us "delusional" C&B ? Well here we are year later and getting exactly what we want - good football played with passion ! As for the 4th official I have my doubts that they actually exist - I reckon it's like one of those mob "no show" jobs - all you do is open the pay packet !

  9. Nah, never in doubt Mr P I can say with my hand on my Hammer that it never occurred to me that they would score.

Nah again, our little Toffee Hammer will do. They usually do us in the league but we've had everyone else of note so no problem here. Nothing to see, move along!

  10. Like that phrase Smitty - "Hand On My Hammer" - has a ring to it (OUCH !).
As for the Toffee's, Goodison Park has never been a happy hunting ground for us and I think I read once that they've beaten us more than any other team. With Crazy Horses, Ginge, Tomka, Joe O and Kid Byram all out - anyone back there will have to be on their toes. Still whats good for one set of Scousers is good for the others - COME ON YOU IRONS !!!!

  11. great Saitch A.P

Pochettino doing an Allarbuckle and blaming the 'pitch'..
anything but the 'CLARET N BLUE MAGNIFICENCE' that never let
    the 'spuds'get a look in...
Yet another Splendourous night under the lights at the Boleyn ...
