FC Lusitans (Andorra) v. West Ham Utd - EUFA Europa League 2nd Leg

  1. Job done indeed. I was just thinking it was lucky they all went to Dubai in the spring 'cos they got no hols in the summer! Amazing forward thinking by the administration! Maybe they'l get some beach time in malta on the return leg. Guess Sahko can roll up his trousers and not his hanky for a little break now.

  2. I believe Bilic has some experience with Europa League wear and tear and the mix vs. The Andorrans of kids, vets and subs seems smart. Followed the match by text and so no real idea about Sakho's red. I assume they'll draft someone else of stature to partner Elliot Lee - who's definitely having a go. From the happy snaps on KUMB it looks like our 500 Faithfull (plus a few in the car park with a view) had a "Grand Day Out" and whoever owns the bar at their ground made out like a bandelero !

  3. I think that was Lee's first goal for the top flight. Astounding considering how long he's been here. So we'll see finally if he's good enough to get in the mix.
I'm surprised more wasn't made of Sackos's oops. Doesn't seem to be any film anywhere or any statement from anyone. Did he just stick the nut in on someone ? Should there be an Oscar for someone? I guess we'll never know. Is it just a 1 game suspension?
As Monsewer de Filth says there may well be tears before bedtime this year but the traveling faithful looked to be having a great time and I feel good.

  4. From what I could dig up with me deerstalker and magnifying glass Smitty, it was an elbow to the face that earned Sakho his early shower (I assume they had showers - might have been a garden hose). How bad I have no idea, but the lack of complaints from our end, either displays a new found maturity (Whats the point in complaining), or our a man was caught - "hands in the till" so to speak.

  5. Fairynuff. Yeah, I don't see much point in whining. Doesn't seem to be any film so I guess it's what the ref/ linesman saw. Let's assume it's Kosher and move on. Valencia for Malta then I guess.

Anyone know if AC is doing more than posing at the moment?

If that's true can we have a few quid back as he's done bugger all for all that dosh

  6. Think AC is kidding himself big time if he doesn't realise that "the toothpaste is out of the tube" as far as he's concerned and anyway "children are to be raised in the manner to which they are already accustomed", so he'd better behave himself or his life will be about little else than money - for other people. I still think we should flog him if we can, before another injury occurs - he seems destined for the recovery room that lad.

  7. On a brighter note, it's another cheap August night out on Green Street with European football - the mighty Birkirkara of Malta, plus the added attraction of the stars of tomorrow ! Wish I was going - I'm hoping Betway will stream it . COME ON YOU IRONS

    1. Nothing wrong with the Womens USA World Cup Winners and what a cracking start to the Final. They got a well deserved ticker-tape parade here in NYC, my #2 son was there and by his account it was quite an occasion !

  9. Flog him- if only !! I'd almost be inclined to take a substantial loss and save the wages.
Not that it's my gelt to decide about.
I think Nobby's prolly on his way somewhere Mr P so that sort of buggers up your toofer
and onefer doesn't quite have that Tesco's ring to it.

  10. Tesco's eh Smitty ? you might have your sights set a little high there, especially when it comes to Nobby. I was thinking more Poundland !

  11. Must confess I've yet to sample the joys of wheeling a cart round a Lidl Filthy, mother thing to look forward to on my net trip to Blighty in August. I had to Google it and make sure it was a supermarket !

  12. Lidl's was always Jimmy's round out house

  13. "Jimmy's Round Out House" is that an Australian restaurant Smitty ? In fairness i meant to say "another" not "mother" in my last comment - these auto spell check wotsits cause more problems than they solve.

  14. I think that was Fat Fingers - The typo not the restaurant.

  15. I'm not sure the carts at Lidl have wheels Mr P!

  16. If they don't have wheels then they're not carts Filthy. What do they have then, some new high tech solar powered device (solar in Blighty, iffy to say the least) or do they just give you a big sack and you drag your swag behind you to the check-out ?
