Scott Parker

  1. Praise indeed Filthy. To be honest, I'm surprised there wasn't more interest in him. He sure knows how to put in a shift and carries himself well. Sadly for us, he will serve Spuds well too.

  2. Capello is a moron for not making him captain of England

  3. Please don't hurt 'em Hammer. He wasn't even Captain of The Irons, although who can deny that he would have done a better job than Upson ?

  4. I've come back to this (doubt anyone else will) the day after England beat Spain 1-0 at Wembley New Town. I didn't see the match but I hear that Scotty played a blinder and left the pitch to a standing ovation - well done my son. No doubt Uncle Chiv, will want all the credit but it was on Green St. he turned his game around.

  5. He's been the best "holding" midfielder in the country for the last 10 years. Insane he hasn't been an England regular. I'm afraid the England result means nothing, but you might as well win it!

  6. On the money there Filthy. I cant help but feel that if he hadn't won that writers award - "Best Something Or Other" Eddie Cappelli would still not have played him. Back in September, Hammer was boosting him for England Skipper - I doubt it will ever happen, but England has done much worse ( "What I said was I didn't call you a F B C Antoine").
