  2. Welcome back Don't Hurt 'Em, it's good to see that you've lost none of your Green Street spirit. The lads deserve some credit for coming back from 2 - nil down at the half ( I won't go into how we got there). Now's the time for a big win,"Peterboro to the Sword" says I " No Quarter !".

  3. Chin up Smitty, I reckon the return of Don't Hurt 'Em might be sign of luck and his optimism (for me at least) contagious. If we can kick on from half time at Burnley, we could chase back after that #2 spot ! I can't see Reading keeping their run of form going for another 7/8 games. Come On You Irons !

  4. Oh I'm still in there hoping, but like you say, if Alf's got a plan I'm b**gered if I know what it is.

  5. I've got a plan, keep the ball on the ground, use the midfield and let them help work it upfield Then either get it to the forwards, or use them (the forwards - AKA "THE GANG THAT COULDN'T SHOOT STRAIGHT") as a diversion and stick it in the back of the net (their end). In a nutshell play football - we've got more good footballers than any other team in the 2nd Division, let's use 'em !

  7. It's true CBTG and "this story the good man shall teach his son" that amongst "the few, the happy few of this band of brothers" it will not be James Tomkins, nor Mark Noble , nor Robert Greeen that shall "hold their manhoods cheap. He which hath no stomach to this fight, let him depart." To Peterboro !!!

  8. Very Lyrical Mr P. The battle of Upton Park coming up against Reading on Saturday. That'll go a long way to deciding things. If not a positive result I reckon Lord Allardyce will be quoting from Richard 3
