Fulham v West Ham

  1. Red for danger? Time for a "tiger in the tank" I think he should put it out of reverse!

  2. It's time to put the pedal to the metal, Filthy ! and only stop to pick up points ! I was still celebrating Nobby's equaliser when The Cottagers (dodgy name or what ?) pulled back in front. Until they got their third, I was thinking we could still come away with a point. I've not looked at the statistics, but this team does not seem to like playing Wednesday nights.

  3. Not good.
Didn't see or listen but seems we sucked in first half and then put up a fight.
General consensus seems to be one trick pony is knackered and we need another horse. 1 up front and boot seems to have been sussed by one and all.
Can an old pit pony learn a new trick?
AC seemed to be up for it when he came on so if he's fit there is a spark.
Looks like the old Ironocoaster in on the downhill bit- Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!

  4. AC certainly looked the part as he always does (a handsome lad for sure) Filthy and he did have a couple of pops at it. Is he fit enough to put in a serious shift against Swansea tomorrow ? I for one wouldn't mind seeing a repeat of putting him and Carlton on together - Large & Large if you like. The January wardrobe dealing is done and we still have Diame, so that's a major plus too. Now if we can only get Jarvis and Joe Cole up to speed before we let one in, we'd be getting somewhere.

  6. Filthy, what ever we do or don't need at West Ham, we do not need a fascist "with a badge" ! Unless that particular "Italian Job" has undergone a spiritual and political transformation in recent times, for me he is personae non gratis, when it comes to management. Many will disagree I'm sure, but I've given that particular scenario a lot of thought - The Hammers can't take on that kind of baggage.

  7. ear ear Mr P, I second that.
Didn't we just go through that sort of nonsense with the Spurs game. We don't need one running the show. Whatever else he may or may not be, that cancels him out for me.

  8. I'm glad I'm not alone on that one Smitty, but we're outnumbered for sure.

  10. Good on both of you, i'm in the same boat, but i fear storm clouds are brewing and there'll be a number of supporters of the idea of bringing him in. I'm also not a fan of randomly changing gaffers, unless he's completely lost it. I don't think Alf has, yet, but I don't understand how the team can be so....lifeless, and that has to rest on his plate to a large degree. One good result can change things, for sure, but it had better be sooner rather than later. Get it in gear boys (
