West Ham Utd v. Manchester Utd.

  1. At this rate, not when I'm still breathing.
One question - WTF was that, it wasn't supposed to be football was it?

  2. Whatever it is Smitty, it certainly isn't going to draw 60,000 punters to Stratford is it ?

  3. No doubt about that, unless they have a good band at half time.

I was going to say it last week against Stoke but I thought it was just a bad day, when we have possession we don't have a clue what to do with it.
For a few minutes we had 2 up top and absolutely nothing going on. We could still be playing now and be scoreless.
This is dire, I don't think as a squad they are particularly bad players but this
    system.........

  4. And with 8 games to go and Alf looking for 7 more points, there's little prospect of anything changing this season Smitty. I guess were waiting for Nobby to nick a few and the others to make up the difference any which way they can. Hardly Roy of the Rovers is it ?

  5. Or next season, or the season after, ad nauseum
More like Roy of the Rover's Return

    1. Last time we got involved with England it cost us Dean Ashton and him his career. We're well off out of it Smitty.

  7. I hope I don't run into that Manchester guy again. I probably still won't understand what he's saying. I have to get a West Ham jersey to wear around town so I can at least thump my chest back at him. It'll be like the scene in "Wolf Of Wall Street" with Matthew Mcconaughey or one of the Planet of the Ape movies.

  8. Definitely go for a West Ham shirt Clueless and to compliment your style they now sell a range of the replica vintage shirts, so there's plenty to choose from and you don't have to wear one with advertising on, which van make you feel a bit like a carrier bag ! Who would have thought that the British sports teams would have advertising on their uniforms before the Americans ?

  9. "East of Upton"?
I do blame Allardyce- He's the clueless one -no disrespect intended Cluless. His statements now contain a lot of "thinks" and "coulds". He's got his manager of the month which proves it's not his fault (in his book). Disgusting....Hull next? Not easy...

    1. Me too on that Filthy.
Maybe someone will make an offer he can't refuse for him and his stupid trophy
      and he'll bugger off
Not sure it wouldn't be worth going down for a year just to get shot of him - which may happen anyway

    2. Not in favour of going down under any circumstances Smitty. Not with the Olympic getting bigger on the horizon - that stadium and the 2nd Division - we might never recover !

    3. Yeah I know, probably not worth it but if we don't off BFS I think we're screwed anyway. We'll not fill the home stands at OS if we keep playing this dross. Unlikely we can fill it with Belgian tourists every week

    4. Going to take something to watch against someone worth watching (i.e big name Premier League Clubs) to make the Olympic success and there's little chance of that happening without some serious investment. I don't think the current owners have that kind of moolah, didn't Happiness Dave say something along the lines of "we're rich but we're not that rich" ?

    5. So our only hope is the Feelgoods at 1/2 time every home game.

  10. Got to get something off The Tigers tonight Filthy and I'm hoping it's all 3 points. Can't be giving them 4 or 6 points in a season, especially as their "win" up there involved a dodgy goal. Points from this West Brom and Palace is what I'm after - Come On You Irons !!!!
