Chelsea v. West Ham

  1. Had a bit of an issue scanning this one because I used copper lettering (it reflects) but anyway I've put it up while I try to resolve the issue. Might have to come up with a slight variation for the site, but the original looks suitably "poncey".

  2. Very nice mr p. The New Romantics back in fashion on the Kings Rd? Was lucky enough to be there, good game, excellent hammers following, didn't,t let up all game.
Lanzini and cresswell were the pick for me. Goals, controversy...good to watch. Matched and more the has beens of SW.10

  3. Bravo Filthy at the "tip of the spear" so to speak. The Away Faithful were coming across loud and clear on the box, as were the referees dodgy eyes on the replays - "outside the box" is my word on the penalty. As for the sartorials on the actual Saitch - next years warm kit for Chel$ki (Russian made of course) !

  4. and still couldn't get it right!!

We had em over, our lot against 50bazilliongrillion, better than them for the full 90. Only dodgy dealings on the freebie and nowhere near, either in the box or even a foul, for the penalty gave them the draw.

    We were great.

PS Yes as agreed by all, 2 visits to specsavers for the ref and 1 each for the linesmen. Apallin reffin.

  5. I had forgotten all about their shifty dealings on the free kick Smitty (although part of me admires many a successful con). But I have not forgotten that 4 points off Chel$ki in one season is not to be sniffed at - they may not be what they once were, but there was still plenty of talent in the team they put out.

  6. Forgot to mention Lanzini has been signed - so thats him, Payet and Kouyate all under contract - not that it's airtight, perhaps I should say money proof, but it's as good as it gets !

  7. Yep, they took their chance and sorta fair dos but it's hardly in the spirit, and it was a great kick.Shame the other Monsewer P didn't get one to answer with.
I don't think any of those are going anywhere, we're not desperate for the cash and more TV $ to come. With the pretty footie we're playing they'll pack in
    to the OS

  8. Brady Bunch already asking for the Olympic to be increased to 60,000 capacity, up from 54 and you're right Fabregas' free kick was a peach - must've watched Payet's from a week earlier !

  9. Payet evidently played well for France yesterday, with the French manager singing his praises in post match interviews. Tres bien Dimitri !

  10. From what I heard everyone seemed to enjoy themselves at Mark Noble's Easter Monday Testimonial - except maybe Deano after he landed post scissor kicked goal ? Still if you're gonna get a last kick at The Boleyn that's the way take it !

  11. I have a feeling Payet is going to be going into Euro with something to prove! Take a look at this firecracker!

  14. And on the basis "no news" is good news Payet comes back not only in the French Managers' good books, but in good nick too !

  15. I see Palace will be without the support of Little Ronnie Corbett on Saturday, I wonder if he ever sat next to Bill Wyman in their VIP section ?

  16. Pardew called him Palace's smallest fan. Quite funny from the big headed one!

  17. Ronnie Corbett may actually have been smaller than Pardew's head Filthy ? Certainly smaller than par dew's ego !
Back in the land of The Mounties ?

  18. Good one Mr p.
Yup back here with the Mounties and pin up politicians (well one anyway!)

  19. Down here in the land of The Cowboy v. The Puritan the politicians are leaning more towards dart board rather than pin up Filthy !
