Birmingham v West Ham

  1. Crap performance, once again the N's didn't show up. A point is a point but it feels like a loss should be an interesting lineup next week

  2. I see where you're coming from Don't Hurt 'Em, this match should have been done and dusted in the first 30, when we were at the controls. That said why the hell did we hardly get a sniff of the ball for the last hour ? You can't let that happen and expect to win, especially if you're only one goal up. As for the suspensions- injuries combo "Interesting" is not the word I would have chosen for the Derby away line up. Keep the faith son.

  3. Quite right Mr P. you need the ball if you're going to win. Are you expecting any action in the sales?

  4. I think we need the Baldock, if we're going to win. Wee Sam is sorely missed Filthy. I'm sure Alf Tupper has a shopping list, but imagine it will depend on the Ann Summers Xmas takings, lets hope they took a few quid.

  5. Maybe we should set the stadium clocks to be at 85 mins at the beginning of the second half and then we can play with that random energy that suddenly appears when its too late. We didn't deserve to win by any means but we also arent getting any calls on the penalty front.

  6. I think you are fast becoming the "Sage of Saitch" Dont Hurt 'Em (no onion or Paxo comments required from the cheap seats). We've definitely been done out of a few penos as of late, Brum handballed in the box for sure !

  7. Deffo seen better outings, just like my Uncle Bill at DIY, starts a great job, looks good, ............
Gonna be a test for The Tup to come up with a squad from the wreckage, in fact it's given me a headache trying to think. Anyone come up with a possible line up that has a shot?

  8. A "Test for The Tup" indeed Smitty. Although there have been whispers that Sam Baldock and Matty Taylor might return. Wee Sam would give us that bit of extra flair upfront and I'm thinking Taylor could cover for Nolan. But I've not the foggiest on how to set the back four, your Uncle Bill doesn't play defence does he ?

  9. Well he's a wide'un and not very mobile so he could stand in the goal and fill the bottom 1/4. He's also
a lazy bugger so you know he wouldn't move, but we seem to have a few of those already so I'm afraid he wouldn't be much help.
Better still with everyone playing out of position the confusion will spread to the Rams and nobody will have any idea of what's going on.

  10. Judging by your description I'd say Uncle Bill is good for about 30 grand a week in the Premiership, peanuts to some I'm sure, but it might beat wall-papering ! As for The Rams "by hook or by crook" says I, we could really use them 3 points.

  12. Well he was always beat by wallpapering

and for 30k wider's no prob so we're good for the whole goal by next week.
For this w/end though I'm with you Mr P,hook, crook and anything else not nailed down.

  13. CBTG is correct to draw our attention to the consistently high quality of graphic images created by the Saitch design team. A consistency and style not always on show in the WHU team. Reckon you'd be in my starting XI, Mr P.

  14. You'd better cut down on the compliments Filthy, otherwise me Kangol won't fit !

  15. You're not still wearing one of them are you?! (is that better?)

  16. Fraid so Filthy, I'm saving up for a pukka Anthony Eden style Homburg, but in the meantime its the Kangol or a rather battered the Desmond's Hip City stingy brim.
