West Ham v Norwich City

  1. Great to get a win under our belts after all this time. I complain about Joey O all the time, but I can't knock his goal. Our guys are slowly coming back from injury and hopefully we can go on a little bit of a run in these next few games

  2. Big Rah!!

It's only a bunch of tweety birds, but hopefully will stop the rot.
Coupla guys back, solid pressure most of the game,
little twitch at the end but fortunately no real time left to screw up in.
Not likely we'll steamroll over Utd to follow it up but we'll go in with a bit more confidence. A nice start to the year and a few points further up.
Lets see what bargains we get in the January Sales.

    IRONS!!

  3. It's not Joey O's first either Dont Hurt 'Em, when you say "slowly coming back" are you referring to The Return Of Joe Cole, officially confirmed earlier today and registered in time for tomorrow's show-down with Charlie Endell's Mob AKA Man U ?

  4. Well the January Sales are up and running as far as Alf Tupper's concerned Smitty. He's already put 3 in the bag - the return of Joe Cole on a free, Chamakh (who turned us down a couple of years back) on loan from The Gooners and a young 19 year old Irish prospect (a striker I believe) named Sean Maguire. There's still 20 odd shopping days left, is Alf gonna pull a "Shop Till You Drop" ?

  6. Happy 2013 to you too CBTG and if your welcome back to Joe Cole is anything to go by, he should get quite a roar when he turns out back in Claret & Blue, despite having scored against us 3 weeks ago !

  7. Ann Summers must of sold a lot of accoutrements over the hols!!
So all in all interesting start to the year.
How nice it would be to stick it to Utd!

  8. 'm not sure they publish sales figures for that kind of stuff Smitty, but lets hope so. As for the Red Army, I'm hoping it's our Rorke's Drift and their Isandlwana, with Joe Cole mentioned in despatches as the cherry on the cake !

  9. Happy new year Y'all. Sorry for my silence, I've been away. As you say this win was much needed and what with the joe cole news a big smile returns and the feeling it'll be alright again. Also signed an Arsenal reject striker on loan, I'm not keen on him, but as a back up....why not?

  10. Happy New Year and welcome back from your travels Filthy. I will have the Man U FA Cup post up tomorrow and that should give everyone a chance to get back up to speed.

  11. Just been looking at the posts I missed. I like the "blind Beggar" reference to the "bast**d in the black". I reckon Ron and Reg would've shown him a good time.

  12. "bast**d in black" is that by ACDC ? I'm not very "wiv it" when it comes to the old crash bang wallop music !
